The Best Nintendo 64 “Quick Fix” Games
Martin Watts January 17, 20132. Blast Corps
We’ve had nothing but praise for Blast Corps this past week, and it’s not about to stop here either. Blast Corps’ overarching storyline is simple, yet intriguing enough to motivate the player to keep playing; no one wants a nuclear bomb to go off in their own backyard.
Nevertheless, there’s no real narrative here – clear a path, blow stuff up and find some hidden goodies along the way. Each mission rarely lasts longer than a few minutes, meaning that should you need to turn the game off mid-level, you’re not exactly losing much. Oh, and did we mention that it’s just really good fun?
